Sunday’s prayer bowl

Bring on the
enough of the turkey already
where’s the beef?
I couldn’t help myself when I saw that picture of
I thought
“I bet many are thinking I’ve had enough of turkey”
is something else?”
I’m hoping for a lazy day today
one that is just
“kicked back and easy”
to all of you
I send thoughts of
pepples in flowing water
kind of feelings
to let you just
ease into your day with
amazing grace.
The fire is going … its embers are hot, and the prayer bowl is full
May this day embrace you allowing you to be all that you are
HOPEFUL hearts, and mindful purpose
as you move into your day
Blessings to you from my home to yours.
I’ve attached the link for our friend and warrior here
known as EE
who is facing some difficult days ahead
and now she and her son could use some help as they are
dealing with more than they can find resources for with a broken down vehicle that needs repair to get her to
her upcoming surgery…
If you would like to help
you will see a link at the top of her blog
to send a gift of caring via payPal
I can assure you
it will be appreciated
well received.
Warriors of gentle spirit
I’m sure
will continue to amaze me
I do believe
that it is in the spirit of giving
that we receive so very much. http://workthedream.wordpress.com/
I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catchers mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
~Maya Angelou
I thank you on behalf of someone who inspires us all
to see the glass as at least half full no matter our limitations
or what happens along the journey
to embrace each moment along the way.
Thank you EE for all the many gifts
your friendship has given to me.
And during this time
I would like to again

Thank you
to all of you who visit here,
for reading,
for commenting
for teaching me along the way
the resilience and the wonderment of our lives
in each step and footprint we leave on
each others hearts.

  1. helloooo.finding myself wide awake here, despite the complete exhaustion I am feeling physically… and what a peaceful place to visit in these wee morning hours… again, lots of wise words to ponder, and realizing my small world is such a tiny piece of the picture.. my heart is wishing for resolution to the strife so many are battling. Many prayers and angel energy in the winds for EE and all who are in need… thank you Doc for sharing the link, maybe we can help a bit, as it is so true that giving of ourselves provides not only satisfaction of our heart but value beyond ..it is always the season of giving, and each of us possess the power to make a difference.I love to be able to visit here and I am very grateful for all you do , all of the time, for so many…. I wish on the night sky stars, peace and solitude for all with troubles, may the angels sing sweet songs to you…sign me, ♥ ♥ hugging my angels,A.

  2. Good morning to all, it is a lovely cool morning and time to shake the wrinkles out and go. Prayers to all this day and every day. Each day we are all meeting a challenge of some kind. Attitude is good and helpful when facing a challenge. I just saw Mary J. Blige on the morning show. She told about her abuse when she was 5yrs. old by a friend of the family. For her fans out there listen to her music and you will feel her pain in her songs. She has come thru the drugs and alcohol thru her music. She is amazing. I did not know much about her until today. I think she is telling all of us we can weather the storm and conquer our demons. Thank you Dr. SES for your words of comfort and encouragement. Blessing to EE and know you are in our prayers. Blessings to our troops and their families. Off to Church and prayers for all. Have a great day.

  3. Good Morning Dr. Sherry and friends here. The prayer list long and those needing continued prayers are being held up this rainy morning here in SE Michigan. EE, special prayers that you receive what is needed to get your van fixed and running. Be well and strong friend. For those in the military, may they continue to be safe and Blessed as they stand up for America and fight for our freedom. Dr. Sherry, thank you and you always Bless my heart and uplift me as I read your words daily. Wishing you and all those who stop by here this day a Joyous Sunday and whatever you are doing may it be special. I am off to teach Sunday School and then stop by the shelter for a while. Sandy♥

  4. My wish is for each day to feel like Thanksgiving. For though the day has passed, the spirit of the day remains in my home. I am fortunate in so many many ways. I amiss so many of our friends here. Where is everybody? Maybe they are all closet shoppers and are swept up in Black Friday and Cyber Monday or whatever. If that's it, go for it. After all grab pleasure wherever it may be. Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.
