Facts About MS

I just wanted to share a bit more about MS and my dear friend Laura, (family of choice), my hero, a real hero in my book. She does not let the disease get her down and she keeps working full time,  because she is not one to sit back and just live off of our system. She works for hospice, now 18 years there, and lives live in living color… Full tilt even in times of great weakness, strain, or pain; she keeps full throttle.

I am proud to call her friend. Laura has MS … *BUT* MS will never HAVE Laura. She is a warrior, and we must cure this disease.

Laura’s daughter is currently riding her bike 100 miles now on weekends in hard training for the MS150 out in Texas; Laura will join her there with her 94 year old Grandma’s homemade muffins made in bite size; wrapped with love for the riders, to boost them, to nourish them, as they “ride for the cure”….

  2. Thanks Sherry. What a great video. Your friend Laura sounds like my son, who is also a fighter and a hero. Bless you for all you do to support your friend Laura as she works so hard for a cure for MS. hugs my friend

    • Thanks for listening! We MUST find a cure and embrace those who are not defined by their disease but work through it, move through the pain, while working to find the cure. Laura’s daughter and partner are biking each day, doing those spin classes that exhaust me to hear about, and will be riding the MS150 in Texas. Send them a prayer as Laura will fly there to be at that finish line as we run MS out of the present lives of those millions who suffer through the symptoms, the exaserpations *sp* and best to your son as he works and prays, and plays hard. Movement is what keeps people goin … Blessings to you as you know what I am sayin here!
