“My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry; to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return.” May her memory be eternal… may we all be more than we were yesterday as we thank her.
Maya Angelou has walked on this morning from her home at 86 years old. The angels are singing, old friends are embracing her as we here will miss her terribly and mourn her inspiration and her beauty. A profound sadness sweeps my heart that I never had the opportunity to sit with her, just for a moment, to look into her eyes and touch her hands listening to her raspy and most remarkable words that came from her heart. Walk on phenomenal woman, you will be missed by the world. Maya has given each of us enough to be more than we thought possible with each step we take…if only take the step.
Words of wisdom for all to read, to hear, to put into action steps… while recognizing that we are more alike than we are different.
We will miss you, will mourn you and will laugh as much as we cry remembering the wisdom you have given all to learn and live from through the years…. Thank you Maya Angelou for your life and your gifts. Watch over us please… Let us all remember a bit of what you said,
With deep respect and gratitude for a phenomenal woman.
